Management and Operational Audit

Management audits are concerned about appraising:
1 management’s accomplishment of organizational goals or objectives,
2 the management’s functions of planning, organizing, directing and controlling,
3 the adequacy of decisions of management; and
4 the actions taken to achieve its objectives
Operational Audit:
  • The management cannot simply take the decisions and sit folded hands and wait that the objectives will be achieved;
  • Some activities or operations need to be carried out for materializing decisions into goals
Management Control Questionnaire (MCQ) Guidelines:
  • Management Aspects: Discuss the soundness & efficiency of Planning, Organising, Staffing, Directing and Controlling (POSDC);
  • Auditing Aspects: Discuss about the internal audit aspects
